It has been announced that Pink Caravan, an initiative of one of the largest charitable organizations in the UAE, Friends of Cancer Patients, have become official partners with Jannah Hotels and Resorts properties in Dubai and Abu Dhabi as well as Al Seef Resort & Spa by Andalus. To mark the partnership, the two hotel groups will be hosting various charitable on-goings throughout October, Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Select rooms at Andalus and Jannah have been interiorly designed in pink décor, and are subject to special request from guests. Each ‘Pink Room’ will see a 20% donation go to Pink Caravan, as well as a 10 AED donation from each standard room. In addition, in house guests and visitors alike can treat themselves to a special baked cookie from the ‘Pink Pastry’ sale. The co-operation between the Jannah and Andalus properties as well as Pink Caravan promises to see an abundance of charity events and schemes throughout 2017.
When asked about the partnership, and what the future may hold, Ms Caroline Delbecque, Chief Executive Officer of Andalus Hotels & Resorts said, “I’m delighted to be working alongside Pink Caravan, they’ve achieved so much, and helped a lot of people in the UAE. We have a lot of plans in the pipeline for the upcoming year, and I can’t wait to share all of details of our collaborations in the near future.”
Martin Persson, the Chief Operating Officer of Jannah Hotels & Resorts shared Ms Delbecque’s excitement about the partnership, “It will be great hosting fundraisers with such a reputable charity;” but also shed light on the importance of Breast Cancer awareness, “Ultimately, our goal is to help as many women as we possibly can in the UAE. The more awareness we can spread, and money we can raise, the better.”
